We collaborate with the Italian company Anna Monti, which has made embroidery and embroidered texts on Lovia bags.
Anna Monti is a family business founded in 1969 and now in its third generation in Brianza, near Milan, Italy. The company's history dates back to the 1920s, when Regina, a skilled embroiderer, moved with her family to the house where the company's headquarters are still located.
Today, Anna Monti is a company where artisans are free to express themselves through textile embroidery. The company's main purpose has always been an innovative approach to textiles and embroidery. A strong belief in doing things your own way has made Anna Monti one of the best companies in its field. You may recognize the artisans' handprint in the 'TRASH BAG' text on the side of our bags.

We want to be as transparent as possible about the people behind our bags, because as the wearer of the bags, you deserve to know the story of the bag - down to the smallest detail.
Maria Pia Colombo, Anna Monti's daughter, took over the management of the company in 2007. At the factory, artisans create custom embroidery for their customers for a variety of uses, including furniture, books, and even airplanes. The company employs young professionals who are trained by the artisans already working at the factory.
We found Anna Monti through our production partner Clio, who is responsible for the production of all Lovia bags. With the help of Anna Monti's skilled team, we were able to embroider the statement 'TRASH BAG', which is important to us, onto one of our bag models. Lovia bags are made from waste material from other production sectors, such as cutting waste from sofa production, so we wanted to make it concrete as text on the surface of our Sammal bags.
