Revolutionisers campaign brings together seven strong women
Lovia believes in the power of working together. Revolutionisers campaign brings together seven strong women. Anni Hautala, Hanna Gullichsen, Hanna Tikander, Ina Mikkola, Meeri Koutaniemi, Pia-Maria Nickström and Sara Vanninen have created their own unique bags out of Lovia classic models. 10% of the sales proceeds from the bags will be donated to support the important work of UN Women Finland.
For us Revolutionisers mean the whole community that is involved with the story of Lovia; from producers to our team, customers, owners, influencers and collaborators. Everyone, who is striving to share and promote the idea of a circular economy. Only through working together and combining efforts can we create sustainable, permanent and positive change.
These limited edition bags have been created utilising excess materials gathered by Lovia. Materials include cutting waste from the furniture factory floor, elk leather gathered as leftover from population control hunting and salmon skins, a by-product of the food industry.
Pre-orders for the bags are open from the 16th through to the 30th of September or until materials last. The bags are then made according to orders in the hands of our talented artisans in Italy, making their way to new homes in November.

[KAPPA]
Anni hautala
Anni fell in love with the [KAPPA] style, which we upgraded to a slightly larger model to better fit her needs. And so a compact bag was created, holding all necessities within. The combo of delicious soft brown tones makes the bag not only versatile, but also serves its purpose by saving precious material resources efficiently. This bag will stay by your side and transform into a crossbody, wrist bag or clutch.
[KAIHO]
Sara Vanninen
Sara decided to create a classic black crossbody bag with a twist from the [KAIHO] model. This treasure unlocks a new function by switching the strap, enabling the bag to also be used as a body bag or belt bag style. Upon closer inspection the different textures of black material are revealed, from the excess leather panel to the elk leather body all the way to the cherry on top, the matte salmon leather handle.

[Hilla]
Ina Mikkola
Ina wanted to create a [HILLA] bag that would complement her style. This vision was brought to life with a soft shade of light blue velvet combined with natural white excess leather. The whole look of the bag is topped off with the additional handle in light pearl grey, also adding an extra way to wear this compact treasure.
285€ HILLA | 38€ handle
[VASU]
PIA-MARIA NICKSTRÖM
Pia-Maria wanted to design the perfect little black bag that could be enhanced with an unexpected twist when wanted. From this the [VASU] bag from furniture industry excess leather was created with a small rose gold pinecone puller, spiced up with a rainbow coloured salmon leather wristlet. Looking into the bag you can also discover a hidden hint of the salmon leather in universe on the DNA label.
[TUOHI]
HANNA GULLICHSEN
Hanna wanted an everyday appropriate tote bag that would be spacious enough yet light to carry. For this purpose she selected the [TUOHI] tote bag in a combo of blue canvas and pine brown leather, both excess from the furniture industry.
Hanna’s bag was sold out during the first days of the campaign, and together we decided to include also our classic canvas [TUOHI] tote to the campaign. We’ll also be donating 10% of the sales proceeds for the classic version to support UN Women Finland. These bags are available straight away.

[HILLA]
HANNA TIKANDER
Hanna wanted a bag that would stick by her side through everyday life, that would also adjust to her changing needs. For this she selected the [HILLA] bag, serving with five functions, and a sixth one available with the addition of a handle. For the colour Hanna went with two close-toned deep greens, topped with a yellow handle. The inside of the bag reveals a delicious creamy detail.

[VIRTA]
meeri koutaniemi
Meeri created her dream bag out of the [VIRTA] style. This classic crossbody conceals your belongings within, and fascinates with the ripple effect of excess leather. There are also additional loops on the back of the bag, enabling it to alternate to belt bag and body bag use with the separate additional strap. This treasure glooming in shades of reddish browns receives yet another function from the dark red handle.

WE WILL BE DONATING 10% OF PROFITS TO UN WOMEN FINLAND
