In order for us to create truly long-lasting products, we need not only a main material, such as leather, but also high quality details. We work with Italian Brassmood, which supplies us with metal details, such as logos and loops required for our strap attachments. Brassmood is a company operating out of Varese, Italy, and they specialise in fashion industry brass details. Brassmood’s story began in 2018 when two passionate, young entrepreneurs, Marco and Francesca Mazzucchelli initiated a project. Now their metal creations decorate our bags. Sometimes the smallest ideas turn out to be something big.

We want to tell the stories of the people behind our products as transparently as possible, because you as the carrier of the bag deserve to know its story - right down to the details.
Marco is in charge of the design and production at Brassmood, with years of experience from the techniques used in details for the fashion industry. His know-how and focus in high class technology and a knowing personnel have led to successes for Brassmood.
Francesca in turn is responsible for the sales and marketing units, where international experience is put to use. With a passion for design and customer relationships, new ideas are constantly added on to the services provided for Brassmood.
From the factory in Varese the ready metal parts travel straight to the Milan area to our production partner Clio. There the metal details complete the bags and their way to new homes begins in the ready bags.

Where can we do better?
With the use of different metal parts we enable our bags to become long-lasting partners, as metal stands the test of time without becoming fragile. The origin of the metal is a common challenge in the industry, because in many settings the chain can be hard to track down. In the future we want to keep on developing this, and to be able to drill right down to the start of our metal details’ journey. We only utilise metal details in our bags with much thought behind them, and when their use is required to increase the age expectancy of our items.
